Well & Aerobic Septic System Inspections + Water Test

Buying a home with a well and / or an aerobic septic system? We can evaluate them for you as an add-on service to your home inspection. If you are purchasing a home with a conventional septic tank and drainfield, we can refer you to a septic inspector who provides that service. 

Aerobic Septic Inspection:  We will evaluate the readily accessible components of the aerobic septic system to detemine if it is functioning properly. We will also obtain any septic records that the state has on file and forward them to the client. 

Well Inspection:  The above-ground well components will be visually evaluated. We will also measure water flow, in gallons per minute, being produced at an outside hose bib. We do not perform well yield / well recovery types of tests . 

Bacteria water testing: The well inspection includes collecting a sample of water for E. Coli and Total Coliform testing. The sample will be delivered to the DEQ Lab in Okc.  This is the most common test that lenders require Other water tests are available too such as lead, nitrates, and nitrites.
